Employee Spotlight: Myron Rivers
As Vice President of Channel Development, Myron is responsible for bringing on new partnerships and overseeing all aspects of those new partnerships. He spends his time selling the vision and value of i3 Merchant Solutions to both current and potential partners. He works closely with our current partners like Comdata, ComputerEase, and Bin There Dump That – just to name a few.
Myron began his career in the payment processing industry seven years ago when he started working at Tier One Payments. He also previously worked at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and the African American Chamber.
We had a fun Q&A with Myron. Here’s what he had to say:
Q. What motivates you to wake up and go to work every day?
A. “To help people that don’t know that there is a better, faster, and more cost-efficient way to accept credit and corporate cards. Each day, my position affords me the opportunity to reach one more person and help educate them on how to accept electronic payments while causing as little disruption to their business as possible.”
Q. Who is your favorite person to follow on social media?
A. “I don’t really follow celebrities, but I do follow Pete Souza, the White House photographer during the Obama administration. He is a gifted artist and his posts are vibrant and beautiful, in addition to being incredibly funny. His posts help to brighten my day, and they also help me to keep things in perspective.”
Q. What is your favorite part about working at i3 Merchant Solutions?
A. “The many interesting and inspiring people that I get the chance to meet and work alongside, every day.”
Q. What technology can’t you live without?
A. “Apple Music. I could not live my life without it, or more specifically, having every song at my fingertips, truly keeps me balanced. And it helps me stay focused throughout my work day!”
