The University of Cincinnati (UC) Goering Center for Family & Private Business named i3 Commerce Technology a runner up in the 0-15Award years in business category of the 2015 Family & Private Business ALL-STAR Awards.

In 2015, 550 companies were nominated, 75 were named finalists and 18 were recognized for their success and resourcefulness in two divisions, family business and private business. Companies were evaluated on how they positioned themselves for growth through exceptional cultures that leverage technology, attract and retain the best talent, and exceed customer expectations in a demanding business environment.

Family and privately owned businesses have a tremendous impact on the nation’s total economic climate. They account for more than half the total employment, new job creation and Gross Domestic Product in the U.S.

To honor the enormous positive contributions made by family and privately owned companies, both large and small, the University of Cincinnati and the Goering Center for Family & Private Business each year present the annual Tri-State Family and Private Business of the Year Awards.

All of the applicants are judged by an independent panel of judges on several of the 10 best practices of family and private businesses as defined by the Goering Center.
